The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced accessibly priced match tickets:

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced accessibly priced match tickets starting from just five Dirhams (114.25 Indian Rupee) and free entry for those under 18, as part of an initiative to leave a legacy of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024.

"One of the intriguing aspects of the UAE is its diversity. It's a spot that represents the entire planet! This basically makes this a home World Cup for all ten nations, and players can benefit from the enthusiastic backing of their fans. With that in mind, I'm pleased to announce today that tickets will be available for just five dirhams, with under-18s free.

ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardice, who made the announcement at a media conference that he addressed along with Emirates Cricket Board’s (ECB) Board Member Zaid Abbas, also praised the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a venue.

Allardice said: "We will also collaborate with the Emirates Cricket Board and the Dubai Sports Council on the event's legacy. We will host cricket festivals to give around 500 girls the opportunity to participate in the game and have a delightful first experience with cricket".

Delighted to stage the Women's T20 WC in the UAE: ECB's Zaid Abbas:

ECB Board Member Zaid Abbas said they were looking forward to working closely with the ICC and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

"The Emirates Cricket Board is proud to host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in the UAE. The Emirates Cricket Board has deep expertise and an established reputation in staging top-level cricket, and we are once again ready to provide another world-class tournament.

"The competition will include the best female cricketers from across the world competing for the top prize in the T20 format. Throughout the event, we can expect intriguing games and outstanding individual and team performances in Dubai and Sharjah.

“The ECB would work closely with all stakeholders including the International Cricket Council and the Bangladesh Cricket Board to ensure that the participants and fans have a memorable time during their stay in the country.”
